MoCIT minister Jagdish Kharel announces “Suggestion Bank” for public feedback

Senior journalist turned Communication Minister, Jagdish Kharel, has started ‘Suggestion Bank’ to promote a culture of hearing the public’s voice. In a social media post, the MoCIT head announced the establishment of the said bank and issued a request to the people to send their feedback, suggestions, and ideas regarding the public services.

“After I assumed the responsibility as the minister for Communication and Information Technology, I realized that it is necessary to develop a culture where the ministry listens to the people’s voices and gives them priority. Therefore, I have established a ‘Suggestion Bank’ to collect your problems, suggestions, and advice,” Kharel wrote on Facebook.

He further added, “I plan to meet as many people as possible, listen to their problems, and take them into consideration. However, since the government’s major priorities are conducting elections, ensuring good governance, and controlling corruption, in some cases, it may not be possible to hold meetings due to a lack of time”.
