Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited (MBL) and the SalesBerry retail chain have reached an agreement to include digital payment in their stores. The agreement will now allow the bank’s customers to use its mobile banking app or payment cards to make an electronic payment. There are also some discount offers for customers on digital payments. Both MBL and SalesBerry ratified their cooperation recently. Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MBL Sarju Thapa and Chairman of SalesBerry Sushilman Pradhanang signed the agreement papers.
After the cooperation, buyers at outlets affiliated with SalesBerry will be able to pay using MBL’s mobile banking app’s QR code or credit/debit cards at PoS. The digital payment option will elevate the customer experience at SalesBerry stores.

Likewise, the bank has also promoted the Monday Madness campaign that goes live every Monday. With this campaign, users who make payments using a debit or credit card at PoS or QR will get a 23 percent discount (up to Rs 123) and 23 percent (up to Rs 223) on debit and credit card payments. The offer will run from 7 am to 10 am every Monday on payments carried out through payment cards.
