Kamana Bikas Bank has launched a doorstep banking service with the aim of providing customer services more efficiently. Available under a special savings account, the service provides services related to cash deposits, bank statements, etc.
The bank expects that the service will help it to strengthen its bond with its customers.
What services are offered by Kamana Bikas Bank in its doorstep service?
Kamana Bikas Bank is offering these services under its doorstep initiative:
- Cash deposit/withdrawal
- Demand chequebook delivery
- Demand bank statement, balance certificate, FD receipts, and ATM cards
- In-person KYC verification
- RTGS/fund transfer application collection
According to the bank, customers can demand the service via the bank’s mobile banking app. The bank’s representatives can go to the designated place to provide the service.
This doorstep service allows entrepreneurs, office goers, housewives, and senior citizens to avail of banking services without visiting the bank physically.
The service promotes digital banking and makes banking services more inclusive and technology-friendly. The bank’s marketing officer, Dipendra Subedi, said that the doorstep banking service is already used in different developed countries, while it’s being implemented for the first time in Nepal.
