Cross Border Payments with Everest Bank Mobile Banking App

The customers can now make cross border payments with Everest Bank banking app. The bank has signed an agreement with Gateway Payment Nepal to facilitate cross-border payment and grow the digital payment ecosystem.

Following this agreement, customers of Everest Bank are able to pay through Paytm, Google Pay PhonePe, etc. while in India.

Everest Bank and Gateway Nepal signed an agreement that will help facilitate cross-border payment for the customers.

Nepali customers of the bank can pay for goods and services in India by scanning the QR code. For this, the bankโ€™s customers must use the official mobile banking app. They can download it from their phoneโ€™s respective Apps Store depending on their smartphone platform.

The agreement will also allow Nepali expatriates in India to transfer money to an Everest Bank account.

Similarly, the partnership will also enable online payment for Indians during their visit to Nepal. ย ย
