CAN Infotech 2022, a flagship ICT trade show in Nepal organized by CAN will start on April 20. The 27th edition of this popular exhibition was to be held from February 1 – 6 for six days. But COVID-19 case spikes had delayed it but now the show is likely to conclude with the Coronascare slowing beyond a need for strict measures.
Initially, the plan for this year’s event was set for Baisakh 28 – Jestha 2. However, the planned event was called off and postponed again due to COVID-19 but the threats from the virus hovered yet again and caused another long delay this year.
IME Pay is sponsoring this mega ICT event while SmartChoice Technologies Ltd. will co-sponsor it.
CAN InfoTech 2022, Both Physical and Virtual
The virtual event has become a sort of mainstream and CAN (Computer Association of Nepal) has also adopted it for its marquee event. The 27th edition of CAN InfoTech will be hosted both physically and virtually. The ticket system will be made paperless which is in line with the growing digital/online environment post-COVID-19 scare.
For the exhibition event, CAN has set the price for Rs.1 only. The Association says, the idea behind the event is to aware the public about ICT in Nepal, and the symbolic ticket price will trigger more curiosity into the prestigious six-day fair.
At the event, various enterprises will put on display their innovative products and services. While the attendees will have a glorious chance to stay updated and purchase the products equipped with the latest tech & innovations available.
An All-Inclusive Event
CAN InfoTech is one of Nepal’s most anticipated ICT-related exhibitions where the companies showcase their products and innovations. No doubt, the organizers will make it an all-inclusive event as it has been all these years. But the event itself skipped last year due to the COVID-19 concerns and for that reason, this year, the event will carry more significance. This year, the event will give a major lift to the businesses which have been affected by the Corona scare and 2 lockdowns.
While the exhibition allows business transactions for the companies, it also provides an opportunity for the companies to expand their business, learn about the consumers’ demands, and keep a check on new tech trends for everyone involved.
The CAN InfoTech will have dedicated sections to introduce its ICT products and services. The organizers are preparing different sections for branding, game parlor, product launching & startup, robotics, e-governance, WiFi internet, women entrepreneurs in ICT, among others. At the event, exhibitors will be passing on information on the current technologies ranging from the network, and cloud-based solutions, security, mobile phones, and other digital solutions. Meanwhile, it will also serve as a chance for the observers to learn about solar power systems, desktops, and laptops, CCTV and hard disk, IoT, and AI among many other advanced technologies.
