Rakuten Viber and Techmandu have struck a partnership enabling users ability to book rides with a new Viber chatbot “Viber bot”.
With this collaboration, Taximandu aims at making booking rides easier through its ride-hailing service. The chatbot in Viber lets users book taxis directly from within the app.
According to Taximandu CEO Arjun KC, “We are excited to partner with Rakuten Viber again to launch this new chatbot, which will make cab booking even more convenient for our users. With the Nepali New Year coming up, we want to ensure everyone has easy access to safe and reliable cab services. Our mission for the Taximandu online taxi chatbot on Viber is to help them spend more time enjoying and celebrating with their loved ones without having to worry about how to get home. Now users can easily book taxis from the Viber chatbot, no need to download other multiple apps for taxi rides”.

Book Taximandu ride with Viber chatbot
With the Taximandu online taxi Bot, users can avail of many exciting features without switching from one app to another such as booking rides for short and long routes, checking the real-time status of their ordered cab, and even scheduling rides in advance for longer routes. Besides, users will get promo codes of up to 60% discount for all the bot users who book rides from the Taximandu online taxi Bot from April to September 2023. If you start using it, you also get a 20% discount when you refer contacts to the chatbot!
The Taximandu and Viber collaboration brings incentives for both drivers and passengers. Taximandu drivers get to share zero commission out of the ride requests made through the bot, while exclusive offers of free rides to longer routes will help encourage subscribers to keep using the new feature.

Last 2022, Rakuten Viber and Taximandu came together to launch the Taximandu Channel and Taximandu Lenses to keep users more engaged during their ride services.
Further, Taximandu intends to bring more features to the Viber bot making it more accessible for Nepalese as well as for foreign visitors in Nepal.
