The government of India has lifted the ban on the popular game Battlegrounds Mobile India previously called PUBG Mobile India. The move came after Krafton’s promise to comply with the local rules earlier this month.
PUBG was banned in India in July 2022 over security concerns. However, now the avid gamers can sigh a breath of relief as the ban has been lifted by the Indian government. Krafton, a South Korean video game holding company announced the delightful news for Indian smartphone gamers.
Krafton said that the game became available for download on Android from Play Store from May 27 onwards. But the full experience of gaming including multi-player battles will only come from May 29. The game is also available for preloading and the automatic update has already been rolled out.
